How to be fast at Brands Hatch on Assetto Corsa Competizione - Track Guide

Brands Hatch GP can be a tricky track at the best of times. I seem to take steep Paddock Hill Bend differently each lap, and that’s just the first corner!

Later around the lap there’s the tight Druids hairpin, juxtaposed with the highspeed Hawthorns, which has a midcorner bump that can unsettle the car and throw you into an unforgiving barrier. Plus, there’s the oldschool narrow layout and runoff areas that are either too small or a giant sand pit.

Throw into the mix a full grid of powerful and evenly matched GT3 machinery and you have the recipe for a very expensive pile of scrap metal and carbon fibre.

Which is why a track guide to maximise every last bit of weathered kerb is well worth a watch. In my opinion, that is.

Here, watch as I go through each corner, bit by bit, culminating is a quick lap time. Hopefully you can then apply these learnings to your driving and win your next ACC online league event. Below are some times to aim for:

Pro – 1:22.00
ProAm – 1:23.50
Am – 1:25.00
My time – 1:22.40
When it comes to other useful information about the GTcar simulator, why not read about 2020 World Challenge Pack updates, how the GT World Challenge series will use ACC to gain realworld points or confirmation that it will reach the PS5 and Xbox Series X later in 2021?
