I used to often handmade build bicycles. But those were very eyecatching bikes, “beach cruisers”. The last one was probably 12 years ago. Back then I wanted to build a bicycle frame made of polished stainless steel. Although stainless steel is not the best material for a bicycle frame. Now it turned out that it had worked. It was an ebike, I thought it would be more complicated, especially with the wiring, but it was really plug and play. The polishing was actually the most complex part of the construction. Next time I would choose larger pipes and put all the cable stuff in the frame. But the whole construction was a lot of fun.
