In this video I will show you how to build a hood for your miter saw station and get great dust collection. A properly built miter saw enclosure is the most important factor in attaining great dust collection. The miter saw station build is for the Ridgid R4221 sliding miter saw, but you can modify my design to fit any saw on the market.

There are several features in this design that I will discuss and show you how to make.
1. Storage cabinets to the right and left
2. Sliding Drawers
3. Tongue and groove cabinet faces
4. Installation of European Hinges (Full Overlay)
5. Installation or continuous hinges
6. Installation of a dust collection port
7. Cutting and installing white board material for the front part of the enclosure
8. Custom cabinet handles
