So I needed to build a shed ramp for my riding mower. I will show you how to build a shed ramp out of treated wood using a wedge stringer design instead of the more common ledger board design most people use for shed ramps.

Building a strong shed ramp strong enough for a riding mower is fairly simple and can be done in an afternoon.

2" / 3" Deck Screws
Deck Boards
Appropriate Dimensional Lumber
Crushed Stone

For my build, I used 2 3" deck screws, 3/4 inch treated deck boards and a treated 2x6. You're needs in materials may vary by the height of your shed, how your shed is built and the terrain and space available to you surrounding your shed.
