I wanted to build a kicker ramp sturdy enough to jump with my mountain bike, but I didn't want to build it out of plywood. I don't have room in my garage so I wanted to build something that would endure the weather since I have to leave it outside. Plus, everyone builds little kickers out of plywood and I wanted to do something different.

You can find a measured drawing at lunchridemtb.com that you can use to build your own. But be warned, building out of pressure treated lumber means that while it will be sturdy, it will also be heavy as hell.
