After cleaning, the formation of condensation in the cap is inevitable. It can loosen residue from dried ink, causing the color of the new ink to change. For this reason, the spring and cap should always be cleaned with a lintfree damp cloth. To prevent leakage, the fountain pen should always be freshly filled with ink. Always wear it feather up.
