Catching bait is critical for catfishing. I spend 23 days out of the year specifically targeting and catching skipjack herring. I usually get around 5075 of them that will last me for an entire season (i.e. Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter). Skipjack will school up below dams and you can catch a bunch of them in a short period of time. I like to use foley spoons, marabou jigs, and sabiki rigs to catch skipjack. Go out there and get you some and stock up for the year. Tight lines and FISH ON!
