How to change the daytime lights (DRL) from low beam to fog lights on 2007-2010 Chevy Cobalt

In this video I explain a real easy way to change your daytime lights (commonly called the DRLs) from the low beam on the headlights to your fog lights. If you do not have fog lights on your vehicle, you can use this method (or rather, half of it) to change your DRLs to any light you wish.

This is useful if you have HIDs installed in your low beam headlights as this way they will not be constantly on and will prolong their life, as well as allowing you to chose what your DRLs are.

If you would like to use something other than the fog lights, you will only need one fuse tap. Simply run the wire from the fuse tap to your lights of choice, as well as a ground and everything should work fine. Again, only place the DRL fuse in the top slot of the fuse tap so that you can prevent the DRL signal from going to your low beams and instead only goes where you want it.

If you have any other questions feel free to comment and I'll help as best as I can.
