How to chose offset and backspacing for your wheels

Follow
Jeeping For Beginners

Choosing a wheel size can be difficult if you do not understand the measurements you need. I created this video to help you understand these terms and chose the appropriate rim size for your Jeep.

Below are the times each of the four major size topics start if you want to review or skip direct to each.

00:00 Introduction
01:44 Rim diameter
03:53 Rim Width
05:49 Rim Backspacing
08:36 Rim Offset
14:19 Conclusion and visuals

I am not suggesting that the size chosen in this video is the only size to run. Its just an example, and the principles apply regardless of your choice of brand, style or wheel design.

If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments down below, and I will get to them as quick as I can. If you need a deeper explanation on either of these major four topics, let me know.

This is the simplest way I could explain it. Hope it helps answer your questions!
