How to clean and maintain a torque converter, 40 series. Shows how to disassemble, clean, lubricate, and assemble a comet 40 series torque converter, or continuously variable transmission. Similar to the comet 30 series TAV2, and comet 20 series torque converter used in go karts and mini bikes, but the 40 series can handle from 818 horsepower. Video shows how to disassemble the drive and driven unit, clean, and reassemble the drive and driven unit. Also shows the red and yellow spring orientation to pre wind the driven unit spring for outboard or inboard jack shaft orientation.
