Frony load washer maintenance and cleaning. Learn how to clean your washing machine door seal. The gasket of your front load washer or washer combo may become dirty over time. Clean the door seal in your washer once a month to prevent buildup of dirt inside the seal.

Wear rubber gloves and protective goggles.
2 Dilute 3/4 cup (177 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach in 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water.
Wipe around the door seal.
Soak a sponge or a soft cloth in this diluted solution and wipe all around the door seal.
Wipe up any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning.
Leave the door open to allow the door seal to dry completely.
