How To COME BACK From An ANKLE SPRAIN!

Have you ever rolled or sprained an ankle? The answer is probably yes and if so, you know it takes some time to rehab back to full strength! One of our favorite ways to help that process is by challenging the tissue at different angles!

Using the slant board, we are easily able to preposition the ankle in plantar flexion, dorsiflexion, arch up, arch down, or a combo. In those positions, we add 3D reaches with the foot or hands to further challenge the tissue. We suggest building up to the position that the ankle was sprained in. Make sure your ankle has strength in all positions and directions to avoid any further sprains! Good luck!
