Ping is a commandline program designed to allow network admins to track the availability status of different devices in a network. It also helps discover network connectivity and latency issues. In this video I show you how to run a continuous ping command from within your ASUS router web interface. A ping command is just a method of send a few packets over a network to see if a target device is alive and well. The continuous ping command will send ping messages indefinitely until you stop them. This enables you to see over a period of time if any ping messages are dropped to the IP address or domain name you are checking. The ASUS router network tools feature provides a nice graphic display of the continuous ping results. #asus asusrouter #ping #continuousping
