This is how to turn a garage into an extra room. This DIY transformation is simple to do and provides an extra room in the house for growing families. We used timber to frame out the brick pillars and then attached the plasterboard / drywall to the bricks. We also built an internal wall to seal off the room and provide a small storage area when the garage door is open.
