Create your base map easily using QGIS and data from AURIN and VICMAP for contour, buildings and cadastre.
Update: at 3:01 for cadastre data, in this case I was aiming for a suburb cadastre. So what I should've done with the filter selection was that I should've selected 'Locality' instead of 'Local Government Area'. In choosing Locality, I could've just selected Airport West (with or without buffer option) and then I would not need to delete any unnecessary cadastre data outside of Airport West that I didn't need later in Qgis. If your cadastre data is generated from somewhere else, be mindful with this kind of filter selection as this could save your workflow and make it easier for your QGIS or AutoCAD to handle the data.
