This Vectric Vcarve and Aspire video tutorial shows how to work with difficult bitmap tracing and design for your CNC router projects.

sometimes, bitmaps can be very challenging to design up into a workable design for your CNC router project. Especially when elements are crossing over each other. We will have an idea of how to design it. Then, as we look at it, we can see it will not be a practical way to approach the design.

this video walks through such a bitmap log. It is intended to give you the thought process. You will see how to rethink the project and take advantage of layers to set up your tool paths. It will also help with the order of operations.

This project requires some prep work on the wood and requires the use of Oramask. Planning ahead of time will help tremendously when you have challenging bitmap images to trace and transfer into workable CNC router projects.
