Getting an early start on lawn care in the spring is key to getting that lush, healthy summer lawn we all want! If you've noticed some dead grass, or your fertilizing routine isn't as effective as you expected, it could be because of a buildup of thatch. A thick layer of thatch in your yard prevents rain, oxygen, and other nutrients from getting into the soil and feeding your grass. Dethatching can make a big difference! It's tedious and requires a lot of racking, but it's worth it!
