To dim the screen or lower the brightness on your Xbox Series X, you can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Navigate to the Settings icon (gear icon) and select it.
Select General.
Select TV & display options.
Select Calibrate TV.

Follow the onscreen instructions to adjust the brightness of your TV.
Alternatively, you can also adjust the brightness of your TV using the TV’s remote control. If you’re using a monitor, you can adjust the brightness using the monitor’s builtin settings.
