Today's DIY is a howto on Board and Batten. We take our boring dining room wall and dress it up to give the space a charming character. The total cost of this project was $80.00 We used a quart of white Ralph Lauren latex paint and about a pint of a custom gray for the top part of the wall. The board we used for the planks was just 3" fiberboard (1.23 per foot). The top molding is 1x4" pine board that Zeb custom built to fit. Most trim molding is around $2.006.00 depending on your taste. The cost may vary depending on your region and what the size of your project is.
