In this video, I will be showing you how to set up the diagnostics programme on an Indesit washing machine.

This process is a little tricky but I will be guiding you how to set up the programme step by step.

1. First you will need to make sure that the temperature and spin dials are set to their off positions (12 o'clock position)

2. Set the programme dial to Number 1

3. Switch on and quickly turn to Number 2 (You need to do this when all lights are lit and the beep is heard)

4. Switch off and turn back to Number 1

5. Switch on again and turn to Number 3

6. Switch off again and turn back to Number 1

7. Switch on again and turn to Number 16

8. Press the start/pause button

The washing machine will then perform the quick diagnostics which includes testing the water pressure for the main wash, rinses and final rinse along with doing short tumbles and a pump test to drain the water. The door will unlock a few seconds after the cycle.
