In today’s video, Eugene is talking all about the Snatch Grip Deadlift. This variation can allow you to have a larger range of motion with a wider grip, putting your back into a position to work harder than a traditional deadlift. Eugene covers everything you need to know from the technique, why we like it, and how you should be doing it.
Setup
Place feet below bar at mid foot/where the middle of laces on shoes are
Place hands at a comfortable wide grip
Nearby the rings of the bar to your preference
Think of bringing shoulder blades down towards back pockets
Tensions Lats
Pretension body against the bar
Pulling bar just enough to hear weights clink against bar
Lift the bar by pushing away with your legs
