The MannKendall Test is used to determine whether a time series has an increasing or decreasing trend. It does not require that the data be normally distributed or linear. It does require that there is no autocorrelation. In this video, I show you the DataTool in Excel for checking the Mann Kendall test. I'm using climate data(Tmax) in this video for checking the trend of data. DataTool is an excel addin for simplifying research for researchers. You can find it at the above link.
