Fabric is one of the most popular Minecraft mod loaders, and this video covers is the complete indepth guide to 1.21 Fabric mods. That includes how to download Fabric 1.21, how to install Fabric 1.21, and finally, how to add Fabric mods to Minecraft 1.21 and start playing Minecraft with them.

To get started, we will need to download the Fabric Mod Loader. There is a link in the description above to download Fabric. That will take you to our indepth text guide on getting Fabric 1.21. Once you are there, click the “Download Fabric” button, and you will be taken to the official Fabric download page.

On this page, click the “Download universal jar” link to start downloading the Fabric Installer. You may need to keep or save it depending on your browser.

With the Fabric Installer downloaded, open it with Java. You may need to download Java 21 as this is now required for Minecraft 1.21 mods instead of older versions. There is a guide in the description above with all of the information you need to get Java 21.

After the Fabric Installer is open, make sure 1.21 is selected, and then, click on “install”. The Fabric mod loader for Minecraft 1.21 will now be installed!

From here, we need to go over how to download Fabric mods for Minecraft 1.21. There a few mods linked above as well as links to Modrinth and CurseForge. These are trusted sources to get Minecraft mods. When downloading mods, make sure to that any mods you are getting are for the Fabric mod loader and version 1.21 of Minecraft. Otherwise, they will not work.

You will also want to download and install the Fabric API mod for Minecraft 1.21. This is a mod that many Fabric mods needs to work and worth installing right away no matter what.

Once you have them downloaded, we can go over how to install Fabric Minecraft mods in 1.21. This is really easy. Open the Minecraft Launcher and click on the “Installations” tab. Then, find your Fabric Installation for 1.21. Hover over this and click the folder icon that appears. This will open your .minecraft folder.

In this folder, you should have a “mods” folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, just create one! Now, draganddrop any Minecraft 1.21 mods you want to install, including the Fabric API into this mods folder.

Next is to play Minecraft using your Fabric installation. When you do, any 1.21 Minecraft Fabric mods that you installed will be working and good to go! You can now use your mods in Minecraft.
