This week I'm giving you a few tips on how to draw feathers in coloured pencil with this Lemon Crested Cockatoo! We'll take a look at the feather layering and the technique used to render realistic white feathers.

We'll be adding lots of blues, purples and greens into this study to create realistic shadows full of depth and character. We'll also touch on parts of the beak and eye.
