In this tutorial I'll show how to draw a Owl in graphite. When drawing feathers I find the layering process and pencil technique is key. Feathers vary from bird to bird so the techniques used may range but there are a few main crucial points to consider when drawing with graphite which are demonstrated in this graphite tutorial.
