PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for an easy painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy stepbystep instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a butterfly, flowers and trellisa beautiful botanical and animal painting “Flowers, Vines and Butterfly”. There are certain things in this world that just always seem to go well together: chocolate and peanut butter, peas and carrots, baked beans and bacon, popcorn and movies, hotrods and classic diners, the tropics and pina coladas, and butterflies and flowers. I have a difficult time imagining a butterfly without seeing it on a flower. The two just seem like they belong together. Just like flowers, butterflies come in so many colors, I could paint a different one every day for years and not get bored. So, join me in this painting tutorial as I take you through easytofollow, stepbystep instructions on how to paint this gorgeous black swallowtail butterfly, beautiful spring clematis flowers, and a super cool wood trellis, the perfect image to put you in the mood for spring, and to adorn your greenhouse or indoor garden. The first lesson you’ll learn in this animal portrait tutorial is how to paint a vibrant blue summer sky using light and bright colors, perfect from creating that happy feeling you get from going outside on crisp, clear sunny day. Then you’ll learn how to create a trellis with lattice; first by drawing an outline, then by painting a solid color for a base, and then by adding highlights and shadows to create dimension and to give it a realistic 3D effect like a photograph. Then you’ll learn how to create a butterfly; first by drawing an outline, then add a transparent layer for the delicate translucent wings, and finally adding layers of colors to give texture and form. Your butterfly will look so realistic you’ll be afraid that it might fly away. Then you’ll learn how to paint flowers and vines; first by laying down a base coat for the vines and leaves, with the flowers placed in between them. Then you'll layer colors using a one brushstroke technique to create contours, movement and shape to the petals. The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. You’ll have confidence to paint any type of butterfly you want whether it’s a monarch, Luna moth, peacock, morpho, rose maple, or red admiral! You could even paint any type of flower you want whether it’s roses, lilies, carnations, orchids, birds of paradise, sunflower, peony, hydrangea, or daisies. Using only 3 brushes and 7 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping!
