Hey team, in today's video we're looking at how NEW doctors can earn £100,000. It might sound too good to be true, but it is possible to earn up to £100,000 as a new doctor by working as a locum in the role of an SHO.

In this video I'm explaining what locum doctors are, how to become a locum doctor and some of the disadvantages of this lucrative role.

I've found that this is a cryptic topic that lots of medics don't talk about, and when I started work as a locum this lucrative, flexible path was not easily accesible. I thought I would make a video for aspiring doctors about how to practically work as a locum and to earn more.

So why isn't evey new doctor doing this? The truth is there are some disadvantages too. These include the fact that there is less job security and no career progression, although flexible and with good immediate earning potential.
