How to efficiently target different muscles when training | Active insufficiency

Today we’re learning about the concept of active insufficiency. Sometimes muscles cross multiple joints and so different body positions will target different muscles or muscle heads. For example, do you know the difference between standing or seated calf raises? Or the difference between preacher and seated incline curls in training the different heads of the biceps?
