There are so many free tools available today that enable you to create some extremely useful maps. By leveraging the various NOAA maps you can import these into QGIS to build amazing detailed maps to help you target specific areas for fishing.
In this video, we will focus on extracting the BAG (Bathymetric Attributed Grid) data and import these into QGIS to a format that makes the bottom structure pop out. Additionally, you can overlay multiple maps to provide a format that is most helpful for you to find areas that you want to target.
