How to Fill Out an Illinois Affidavit of Service of Notice or Demand

Follow
Learn About Law

In this video, our O’Flaherty Law Illinois attorney will walk you through the Affidavit of Service of Notice or Demand.

The person that serves an eviction #notice or #eviction demand will want to fill out this affidavit. You may serve the notice to the defendant, handing it to a person that is at least 13 years old and lives on the property, sending a copy of the notice to the other party by certified or registered mail with a return receipt from the addressee, or posting it on the door, but only if no one lives in the property. If you need more information on how to serve papers, we highly suggest speaking to an experienced Illinois attorney.
