In this video we are going to find inverse of matrices using adjoint method. In this video
we have discussed the inverses of 2 x 2 and 3 x 3 matrices.

The video contains two examples, one of 2x2 matrices and 3x3 matrices.

Method to find the inverse of matrices

* There is a formula for finding the inverse of matrices.

First you have to find the determinants and then you have to find the adjoint of the given matrices, either it is 3x3 or 2x2. If we find the determinant and adjoint of the given matrix, then put the given value in the formula, Then you will get the inverse of the given matrix.
The video is very informative as in this video we have also explained how to find the determinants of matrices either it is 2x2 or 3x3.

In this video we have also discussed how to find the minor and cofactors of the elements of the given matrix and with the help of minors and cofactors you will get the adjoint of the given matrix.

Inverse of a matrix

The concept of inverse of a matrix is a multidimensional generalization of the concept of reciprocal of a number:

the product between a number and its reciprocal is equal to 1;

the product between a square matrix and its inverse is equal to the identity matrix.

Singular matrix

A matrix that is not invertible is called a singular matrix. By the proposition above, a singular matrix is a matrix that does not have full rank. For this reason, a singular matrix is also sometimes called rankdeficient.
