Follow
Apex Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Watch Tom discuss the reasons you might have a lateral shift, some warnings to look out for and the progression we normally go through in the clinic, showing how to fix a lateral shift. When fixing a shift in your spine, it is important to screen yourself for red flags before self treating, and it is always a good idea to speak to a PT or Ortho before starting or of your symptoms are not improving after trying these corrections.

As you treat your symptoms for a lateral shift or crooked back, you may find that it is hard to keep the correction after these stretches are completed. That is common when it comes to these shifts and we find that staying consistent with the stretches and limiting triggers that return your spine to the original crooked position.
