Here are some steps to fix audio and sound issues on Xbox Series X:

Check that your TV audio is not muted and is at a reasonable volume. Ensure that your external or builtin TV speakers are properly connected and turned on.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Select Profile & system Settings General TV & display options. Select Video fidelity & overscan. Under Display, select HDMI. Run the Audio setup tool. Highlight the audio setup option you wish to use and then press the A button to begin the audio test.
