Are you having problems with an unrecognized disc on the ps4? Where when you place your game disc in the ps4, it won't start and you can't launch the game or application?? In this video, I will show you 4 easy steps to fix PS4 unrecognized disc errors! Sony recommends you clean the game disc with a soft cloth and remove and dirt or prints. Also, they state that the ps4 doesn't recognized burned dvds, cds, or blu rays!

The 3rd thing sony recommends you try is to rebuild the ps4 database, which can be done by placing your PS4 into safe mode. Turn off your PS4 and press and hold the PS4 power button for about 10 seconds. You'll hear one beep, ten seconds later another. Then go to rebuild database. Also, if that doesn't work try reinstalling the ps4 system software. If none these methods fix the unrecognized game disc errors, it could be the rollers in the disc drive, they have a tendency to come off the rollers.
