How to fix the flex in a polymer rifle stock (hogue)

This modification utilises epoxy resin and silicon to stabilise the flex commonly associated with polymer rifle stocks. In this example, gap filler epoxy was used because it is the cheapest, and there were some results improving the flex. By using these two materials, a lot of weight is added to the rifle (close to 600g), and therefore it might be wise to use only epoxy if the rifle is being used for hunting. The howa I bought is mainly used for precision shooting, and the budget isn't large at the moment, which is why 40$ on materials is justified compared to $500 for a quality aftermarket stock.
