Steps to Fold a Marine Corps Flag

1 Place the flag in front of you with the anchor to the right. Fold the flag 12" lengthwise from the bottom.
2 Fold the flag 1 3/4" lengthwise down from the middle of the last fold.
3 Fold the flag 4 1/2" lengthwise from the top. Then fold the flag 4" lengthwise from the bottom.
4 Fold the flag in half lengthwise. The fold should equal about 7".
5 Make a fold 6" on the left and complete steps 5 through 11. Once complete with folding flag on left. Make a fold 8 1/2" on the right then complete steps 5 through 12.
6 Make a triangle fold on the left and on the right. Ensure to keep the triangles flat and tight.
7 Make another triangle fold on the left and on the right. Again ensure to keep the triangles flat and tight.
8 Make another triangle fold on the left and on the right. Again ensure to keep the triangles flat and tight.
9 Make another triangle fold on the left and on the right. Again ensure to keep the triangles flat and tight.
10 One last time make a triangle fold on the left and on the right. Both triangles should meet together just like in the picture.
11 If the triangles do not perfectly match together just like in the picture then go back to step 4 or start all over again
12 If your Marine Corps flag looks like this then you are in business. The flag should measure 14 1/2" width and 7 1/4" height.
