Everyone talks about the M1 Garand as being one of the best Military Surplus rifles to own. By doing a quick search online, you will find they are not very cheap. Well, you're in luck! There's a government charted organization called The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). They promote firearms safety and marksmanship. In their stores and on their website, they sell M1 Garands, M1903s, Krags, and a few other military surplus weapons and accessories. The M1s they have are some of the cheapest you could ever find. There's a catch though... you have to meet their eligibility requirements... but no fear, it's actually quite simple. In this video we show you how to purchase an M1 Garand from the Civilian Marksmanship Program

Edit: Few states have stricter laws so the CMP cannot shop to your home address if you live in one of the few states. Check the CMP website for details.

Update 12/31: I just went to the TMP store in Talladega, they had a lot of Gap Letters, a few Rack IHC’s and some M1C’s. They filled up a bit more than half a rack. The clerk informed me that they had four full racks at the beginning of the month. On Thier website, only the expert grade is available currently.

Update 01/28/22: The North Store in Ohio is now open as of Jan 27th, Thursday through Friday 84.

Update: You must provide a copy of a U.S. birth certificate, (an enhanced driver’s license is no longer accepted as of 2/8/23), passport, proof of naturalization, or any official government document (when using a military ID to prove citizenship, must be an E5 or above) that shows birth in the U.S. or states citizenship as U.S. Law enforcement status if you are a Federal officer.
