In this video, I am going to explain you how to get Chatterbox, an exotic SMG in five easy steps. If you remember these steps and follow them in the given sequence, you should be able to get this SMG without any issue. There is a bit of RNG involved, but it’s not too bad and that’s the reason why you see everyone running around with one.

Unlike other Weapons, this SMG doesn’t drop from any boss or at specific location and it needs to be crafted and to craft it, you need 4 components in total. And to get all these components, you need hyena’s keys.

1 SMG Loaded Canister
2 SMG Creative Magazine
3 SMG Modified Mods
4 Chatterbox Blueprint

Step One; Farm Hyena Keys

These keys are in abundance in underground areas, so you need down to any underground area and farm them. To remain on safer side, if you have 10 Hyena keys, the likelihood of getting this SMG build increases significantly. These Key cabinets are on a 24 respawn timer. You cannot go into another players world and open their cabinets as it'll be empty and reset your 24 hour timer. Ideally, go to West Potomac Park Underground area to find them.

Step Two; Farm Loaded Canister

This is found in Hyena’s Chests located in Downtown East. To get this, you need to go to Grand Washington Hotel Mission and open two Chests. One of them should drop it. Once you have it, it will sit in your resources. Once you find this part, don’t open anymore Hyena boxes in this area as you will be wasting your keys.

Step Three; SMG Creative Magazine

This is found in Federal Triangle. There are 2 open world chests and one in the Jefferson Trade Centre mission. Again, don't open any more Hyena boxes in this region once you looted the magazine.

Step Four; SMG modified Mods

This is found in one of two open world boxes in Judiciary Square. If you can’t find this part in any box, wait until 24 hours and try again. Don’t open any hyena chest in any other region than Judiciary Square because you will be wasting your keys. So wait and try again.

Step Five; Chatterbox Exotic Blueprint.

This is found in the Bank Headquarters main story mission. To get it defeated Rebound, and loot a key from him. Go to the next room, there is a hidden panel that will reveal the RFID key card, grab that and once you enter the vault go to this room at left and open Hyena chest. Again, RNG – If you are lucky you will get the blueprint if not then try again after 24 hours reset. Chatterbox Blueprint will not be available at any other location so this is exactly where you need to come after 24 hours.

Once you have all the parts, go to White House and Craft your new gun.
