This video talks about how to get your driver’s license in Canada and especially in Vancouver BC. We will compare the difference between G1, G2 and G license and Class 7, Class 5 license.

If you are coming to Ontario, you will need your Indian Driving License Extract, However, In British Columbia, Indian Driving license extract is not required. The process of converting your Indian DL to Class 7 License includes giving a Knowledge Test, submitting your Indian DL to ICBC and then successfully passing the Class 5 road tests. Whereas, if you are applying for your Canada DL for the first time, you will need to first pass the knowledge test then you get your Learner License. You can then take Driving lessons and give your Class 7 (Novice) New driver road test and if you successfully pass then you have to wait another 1 year to give your Class 5 Road test. If we talk about the cost, then it will cost around 200 to 300 CAD in total to get your driver license in Canada. Hope you find this video informative and useful.
