Valid map filenames on MOST Garmin device SD Cards:
gmapsupp.img
gmapsup1.img

Some OLDER Garmin devices ONLY support ONE map filename on the SD Card:
gmapsupp.img

Garmin has an inbuilt memory. You can also place map files here with various names (Depending on Model number):
The Garmin main memory is quite small, especially on older models.
gmapprom.img (Most devices support this filename)

TIPS ALL CONFIRMED!
SD Card must be formatted to FAT32 (exFAT and NTFS do not work on older models)
Place in 'Garmin' folder on SD Card.
High Speed SD cards (SDHC) seem to work fine on all models.
Older models (Like Nuvi) cannot handle a single file over 4GB(***), so maps OVER 4GB need splitting using GMapTool!
