Step Two: Understand Athletic Metrics

Every school and division has its own athletic benchmarks. Whether it’s a Power IV school, a Division I midmajor, or even a D2 or D3 school, knowing these metrics is key. Think of them as your goals to hit by senior year. If you don’t match the metrics for your dream school, it’s time to look at other great options where you can still shine.

Step Three: Create a Stellar Highlight Video

A great highlight video is your golden ticket. Instead of just using one day of footage from a PBR or perfect game, compile the best moments from an entire season. This showcases your skills and consistency over time.

Step Four: Leverage Social Media

Social media is a powerful tool. Having a wellcrafted profile on platforms like Twitter and Instagram can catch a coach’s eye. Keep your bio short and sweet, pin your highlight video, and tag wisely.
