With Virtual Instruments and Sample Libraries you can easily record instruments and sounds you might not have access to. I often use Midi Keyboards to record the sounds of a Steinway Grand Piano. There are endless libraries of sounds that can all be usable to you, some for free and some that are extremely expensive.
In this video, I'll show you how to hook up and start using Midi Keyboards in Presonus Studio One via External Instruments. The keyboards used in this video are the MAudio Oxygen25 and the Casio Privia. The benefits of a weighted keyboard are many but if you are looking for something more affordable and light, be on the lookout for some controllers with USB.
