~Oddly Contrived Description for Search Term Purposes~
In this video, I, Myles Yang, explain exactly how to harmonize a melody with a bread & butter mechanical voicing technique called "fourway close," using a legendary Queen ballad as an example. Through the magic of modern technology, I've synthesized three new Freddie Mercuries to sing alongside the original in colorful fourpart harmony. Since A.I. (artificial intelligence) and computer generated songs, musicians, and artists are so on our minds lately, I feel I should clarify that this is not a Freddie Mercury deepfake. I simply created these voices for the harmony lines with traditional pitchcorrection software (AutoTune). Of course AI could be used to similar effect, which is something I'll be experimenting with in the future. At any rate...the result is a modern, 2023 Bohemian Rhapsody remix as you've never heard it before!
