How to hone a small engine cylinder. In this video I use a ball hone to hone the cylinder of a Yamaha G29 golf cart engine. Honing a cylinder provides a crosshatch pattern on the cylinder walls that is similar to what comes from the factory. This is a good thing to do when installing a new piston and rings which I will be doing with this engine as well.
