Core strength on a bike is important in order to prevent injury and improve power, making sure you've got a solid foundation to turn the pedals more efficiently. We spoke to Matt Rabin of GarminSharp who demonstrated some exercises and stretches you can use to improve your core strength and overall help improve your cycling.
Matt uses techniques from Foundation Training (http://www.FoundationTraining.com) with Team GarminSharp in the video above, and more information on exercises to improve performance and prevent injuries can be found on the Foundation Training website.
