How to Improve Neck Mobility and Strength

Today's video demonstrates exercises that can by used to improve neck mobility and the strength of the neck muscles. These exercises are extremely useful when healing from a neck strain or trying to prevent neck strains.

Exercises designed to improve neck strength and endurance are often left out of traditional resistance training programs. Adding these exercises can help reduce the likelihood of sustaining future injuries, such as muscle strains.

The exercises shown here were chosen as they help to improve strength and active mobility in all three planes of motion (sagittal, frontal and transverse). Make sure to do both sides as I have only shown one side.

Give these a try and let me know if you have any questions. I usually recommend 23 sets of 1520 repetitions of each movement.
