One great jazz standard that is packed full of musical and harmonic lessons is All the Things You Are by Jerome Kern.

There is just so much we can learn just from this one tune. And a lot of my students and subscribers wonder how to get started with improvising over tunes like this. They feel overwhelmed.

So, in today's video, I'm going to be breaking down All the Things You Are as an example, and what I would do if I was starting from scratch trying to learn how to improvise over this standard.
