This part 1 of episode 3 will prepare the horns and servo pockets for the ailerons and flaps. I'll explain how to prepare the surfaces and hardware as well as getting out the epoxy for the first time in the build.

RE: the La5 as ailerons and flaps were mostly the same on the La7.
"The Frisetype ailerons were always of aluminum alloy structure, covered with AVLK fabric, while the flaps were of dural construction and were hydraulically operated with a maximum deflection of 60 degrees downward (one source indicates 50 degrees downward)."
