*ALWAYS READ PRODUCT LABEL & SPOT TEST BEFORE TREATING*

Common Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea) is toxic to deer and other animals like cattle, horses, and sheep due to pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs) that can cause liver damage. While deer usually avoid it, they may consume it during food shortages, increasing the risk of poisoning. Managing Ragwort's spread in areas frequented by deer is crucial to prevent harm. Pulling up by hand is always more effective (but labor intensive), but here's how I stopped them. #Ragwort #WildlifeSafety #Deer #ToxicPlants #AnimalHealth #DIY #HerbicideUse #PlantManagement #SenecioJacobaea #LivestockSafety #diybandit #thisbetterhome
