The fashion stitch is done here on the longest Knifty Knitter loom which is 22 inches. You can do this stitch on any long loom that has a double rake. Because it is wrapped back and forth between each side of the rake, it creates a blanket that is double thickness. Because it creates a thick knit, the fashion stitch is perfect for blankets, afghans and scarves that will be used in the winter.

In this video, the fashion stitch is done using two yarns held together as one. When knitting off, bring both bottom yarns up and over the top 2 yarns.
